Haiti

Yoga without Borders has sent re-usable sanitary pads, underwear, and personal hygiene items to Hime for Help to support girls and women, living in tent cities, rural communities and Mainson Ke Kontan in Haiti.

Hime For Help is a non-profit organization supporting causes in third world countries around the globe.

Maison Ke Kontan is “home” to 20 children from ages 8 months-17 years who have been orphaned, abandoned, abused, or neglected. They also have numerous children from the surrounding neighbourhood that join them for meals and free English class and support others outside of the home, paying their education costs. Most of these children have experienced extreme trauma Maison Ke Kontan provides them with not only the love and care that they deserve.. but also opportunity for a promising future. Each year they are faced with the challenge of providing basic necessities such as food, clothing, education, and medical care to children, also providing them with a safe haven where they can thrive and continue to grow… a place that they can call “home”.

Thank you again for your ongoing support and your generous donations for girls and women in Haiti!
